Ikebana is the ancient Japanese floral art. It is not enough to place flowers in a container. It is an artistic discipline where the composition, living work, and the human meet.

To practice ikebana is to immerse ourselves in a philosophy that brings us closer to nature. In this work, I used oil to capture the ephemeral fall beauty. Fauvist and impressionist influences mingle, capturing vibrant hues and fleeting emotions.

This simplified bouquet, against a background washed with color, resonates with the passion of nature in transition, promising to bring a warm and contemplative energy in any welcoming space.
