Original artwork description:
“Autumn Leaves” is a 40 x 50 cm pastel painting on indigo toned 160gsm archival pastel paper. It requires framing.
This painting was inspired by so many versions of Claude Monet’s “Autumn at Argenteuil”. However, I still remained true to my own style of painting and unlike Monet who was working with oil paints applied with brushes, this painting is made up of lots of unique marks of soft pastels. The texture of the paper is noticeable in some parts of the painting.
This painting has been sprayed with a fixative and ready to be framed.
