Original artwork description:

This is an abstact-impressionist evocation of a lake at sunset in autumn. It’s based on the ‘rememberings’I have of a small lake within walking distance of my home. The piece radiates warmth and provides a restful place to rest one’s gaze.

The piece is painted mainly with a renaissance gold oil paint by Windsor and Newton combined with and then over glazed with a quinacridone burnt orange made by Langridge. The two colours combine beautifully to create a rich, warm metallic colour that seems to glow in the light.

The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be packaged following best practice guidelines, and dispatched by signed for and fully insured courier. The painting is sold unframed.
