Original artwork description:

This landscape is inspired from a real vew in one of the most wonderful places in our country, Rhodope mountain, the mountain of Orpheus and Eurydice. It is a place with many small villages and incredibly beautiful views. Colors change every season, every day the light is different and sometimes very mystical. My painting shows an early autumn morning over one of the villages.

Why this work is a mixed-media?

In this picture I did an experiment. I used my original digital sketch made on my Apple tablet to transfer it to canvas and make it larger with acrylic paintings.
As a designer I have been working for many years with my graphic tablet. Most of my sketches are done with Apple's Procreate because it's an easy way when I travel I don't have to carry my whole studio in my backpack.
