In Autumn, I always drive around the farms in northern Ontario, looking for a spot to paint. Autumn Hay portraits a landscape on King-Vaughan Road. In the middle of the painting, the purple and the orange weren't in my imagination, these colours were, strangely, there. I ended up creating complementary themes.
