Autumn gold Scottish landscape painting, is a semi abstract impressionist Scottish landscape painting painted in contrasting blue and yellow ochre colors, with a dramatic stormy sky, at twilight.
In this painting I have tried to reflect the movement of the late autumn dead grass blowing in the wind with the rugged mountains of the west coast highlands of Scotland in the background, with a hint of moonlight behind the storm clouds, in a lightly textured effect.
Painted with quality artists acrylics on a 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) box canvas, with a matt varnish finish and black painted edges ready to hang.
