Original artwork description:

This is a view from the river park in our town. Normally it is a pleasant place and it has a reversing fall, which is pretty cool. On this autumn day, I was wanting to see if the meadow was still in bloom - and turned the corner and these trees were gold! I did a small oil sketch while I was there and took lots of photos. I went back a few days later and the trees had shed all of their leaves. While I was so disappointed to not see them again, I realized that I had been given such a gift earlier that week.

This painting is built up of lots of marks - both with brushes and palette knives - creating the feeling of the texture of the Autumn foliage.

It is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas and the edges are painted dark grey. So it is ready to hang in your home!!
