An atmospheric moody Scottish mountain painting. Inspired by the wet weather of the West coast hills of the highlands of Scotland, with it's low lying cloud shrouding the grey mountain tops, interspersed with intense moments of sunshine on the bracken covered moorland hillsides, with gushing waterfalls in spate. Painted in colourful autumn colours of gold and red with grey blue hills, in a semi abstract impressionist style on a lightly textured canvas.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a handpainted white wood frame, with cord ready to hang.
