I painted this still life with flowers in autumn in September. At this time, beautiful chrysanthemums, bright sunflowers, roses, marigolds are blooming! These garden flowers are very simple at first glance. They seem ordinary, ordinary, familiar. But it is worth stopping and looking at how directly and disheveled they grow, what a beautiful play of color spots they create, how sweet they become to the heart!
I painted this bouquet of flowers with acrylics because I wanted to make it more graphic than oil painting. I wanted to show this chaotic pattern of stems, leaves and flowers! In my opinion, acrylic is the most suitable material for this!
