Original artwork description:
Most of my landscapes, particularly the Scottish ones, feature a wee house but after walking through a local wood after the rain I was inspired to paint the trees with a swollen stream, or a burn as it is known here, running where there would normally be a path. Very often, in Scotland, the trees lose their leaves before they turn to the glorious shades of russet seen hear. 2024 saw the trees chaning colour before the winds took the leaves
away.
