In this painting I wanted to emphasise the contrast between the warm russet tones of the autumn foliage and the beautiful blue and turquoise hues of the water.
I have also contrasted their texture by applying the paint thickly using painting knives for the foliage but painted the water with smooth brushstrokes.
It is framed in a white bespoke frame
