Original artwork description:

Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis with oil over casein paint on board. Features an autumn maple tree aglow with foliage in colors ranging from burgundy red, cherry red, and pink to deep orange. The texture of the foliage in the maple and background trees is enhanced by paint thickly applied with palette knife. The casein paint in the sky and grass has a soft, matte texture which contrasts with the oil paint in the trees. Iridescent gold, bronze, and green oil paint add glimmer to the grass and evergreen. Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with an antique gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
