30x30cm abstract impressionist painting.
Abstract impressionist landscape, 30x30cm.
Combining and using strong colour makes me very happy - I hope this paintings is a reflection of that. Autumn inspires me hugely, both in memory and in observation, and I have thought about how colours, thoughts and feelings intertwine in my practise.
I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This 30x30cm landscape painting is acrylic on canvas. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
