We no longer seem to burn off the corn stubble in the fields these days at the end of Summer. This is a nod to a bygone era perhaps. Painted in Bloomsbury inspired style using thick textural brush strokes to describe the land and swirling smoke of the bonfire. A few circling rooks awaiting the spoils. A muted palette of yellow ochres and purple greys. This painting compliments 'Walking into Autumn' and has been painted using the same palette of colour and tone. Painted onto mount board ready for your own frame. NB Frame is for display purposes only. Sealed for durability. I post off the same day if ordered before 3pm or the following day using recycled packaging whenever possible. I refund overpayment of postage where possible.
