'Autumn Annie' is an original drawing 200mm x 250mm in size. Drawn onto hand stained paper which gives it an aged appearance, she looks out at you with her beautiful big liquid eyes. 'Autumn Annie' is friends with all the insects and birds of Autumn and she dresses in the fruits of the season.
'Autumn Annie' has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has then been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail and dot work to look at close up. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell small tales within the drawing.
