Australia is a land of extremes; I am fascinated by both the dry, hot interiors and the tropical rainforests. This vibrant abstract is part of a series of my paintings inspired by Australia. It tries to capture the colours of the landscape and the extreme heat of the interior.
It is painted on plywood and will need to be framed before it can be hung.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over plywood. Further paint added directly to the painting and spread with a palette knife.
