Following two trips to see the artwork in Italy, Paris and Spain, I began a series of representational pieces after decades of abstraction. I am drawn to the mystery of empty spaces that suggest a narrative to which we don't quite have access. Additional influences include Edward Hopper, and Georgio Morandi.
