Artwork description:

Single plate woodcut hand-pressed onto fine Japanese Shiramine paper that I prepared and toned with my own solution of pigmented resin. Only 3 prints have been registered from this matrix and each of them has been than made into a different image - painted over and modified with indian ink, gouache and tempera - each revealing entirely different face of the original matrix. This is the first one.
The work is signed and titled on the front, underneath the image
