Original artwork description:

This painting is part of a project where I intend to enhance the figure of the Andean and Latin American women, often submissive and silenced by a society that remains sexist and racist. This woman represents the rebirth of a new empowered woman. Aukasisa (Quechua language) means Warrior flower/Flor Guerrera.

I used high quality professional acrylic paint to create this Artwork. I painted it on deep cotton canvas and the sides are painted so it doesn't need to be frame.

The flowers has been carefully painted imitating the Andean embroidery with many shades of color per petal.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint
