Original artwork description:

Augusta Alexander is a famous model and Social Media star, he combines beauty with athletism. To me he is a muse. This is one of his most famous portraits by photographer Kostas Pavlos from Vienna.

I used a photo from Augusta Alexander and put it on a canvas, using a very special part and adding a colorful mask. This picture is so symbolic to me about the last fifteen months. Humanity stood together to fight a virus and we were quite sucessfull. We gave up a lot of freedoms to save clinics from collapses and the most vulnerable. All in all, we made the best out of it! Together!

Warhol is my leading star, he was famous for his replications but we live in a new age, replicating became different, we haven new technologies and techniques and the faces, models, objects need an update. This is a study, combining Andy Warhol's idea with a new face. It is inspired by Pop Art but I love the imperfect style of Street Art.

I will never forget this Covid-19 (in Germany we call the virus Corona-Virus) phase in my life. It showed me how important freedoms are, how united we can be as humanity and by missing so many things I now appreciate them more, as they come back. We all worked together, especially in the arts, to keep life colourful!

None of my artwork is perfect, they are organic, there are drops of paint, tears in the paper, waves, glue residues. They are original!
