Original artwork description:

"Painting is an aspect of art, art is an aspect of the spirit" W. KANDINSKY. Colors also unconsciously arouse emotions and sensations in all of us whenever we admire them in their various artistic and non-artistic expressions. We artists must therefore be well aware that when our works are admired they can arouse disparate emotions and effects on people precisely through the chromatic harmony of our paintings. In "Crossing the Red" I gave space precisely to the shades of red as the title of the work evokes. In an era in which everything seems to vanish, where the hope of living a better life now seems a mere illusion, where boredom and apathy dominate the souls of defenseless people in the face of the catastrophes that are destroying us, my will is to give those who turn their gaze towards this painting inner strength, self-confidence and confidence in their abilities and determination.
