I live in Margate on the East Kent Coast of England where the English Channel meets the North Sea. We get spectacular cloud formations and sunsets due to the huge amount of water surrounding the peninsula with the coupling of the vast weather systems.
As the sun goes down a real magic can happen with all the combinations of the elements.
Even JMW Turner lived here and found inspiration from the skies in Thanet ( the name of the peninsula where we are located ).
I use here a variety of fabulous materials like mineral pigments, inks, mica powders , handmade chalk paints , sprays, oil pastels, acrylics bits of pure gold and a sprinkling of diamond dust A UV sealant protects it all .

Inks, oil, acrylic, mineral pigments, mica powders, handmade chalk paints, sand, acrylics, diamond dust, copper.
