Original artwork description:

Gestural painting themed on the birch woods that I love so much. The colors are bright and expressive, almost abstract.

This work belongs to a cycle of paintings entitled "Silent Rebellion". It tells of an atmosphere contaminated by human activity. The forest in this work appears colourful, joyful but the altered colours, different from the real ones, indicate that something is changing. Nature's rebellion denounces a forest that is no longer able to retain excess water, alternating with periods of great drought, and which is barely able to regulate the climate, offering oxygen to the overheated planet. The atmosphere is therefore increasingly less breathable, acidic, saturated with harmful gases. We breathe “yellow” instead of “blue”.

Oil colors on 100% cotton canvas. The edges are painted or finished so that the painting can be hung without a frame. The surface is finished with a double layer of water-based gloss varnish.
