Atlas District - 2017 - Oil on Cradled Board –20 H x 16 W x .5 Inches and ready to hang

Atlas District
Walking on H Street at night I often pass the marquee. When coming home from out of town that is one of the landmarks that I’m home. In the 15 years that I have lived in the Atlas District, I have seen it go through many changes and the revitalization of the neighborhood.
The Atlas District is an arts and entertainment district located in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Washington, DC.
The Atlas Movie Theater was built in 1938, one of four movie houses on the then-bustling commercial corridor.

Cradled with a solid wood frame, the panel won't flex, stretch, or warp. The edges are sanded edges to allow for a finished look that is ready to hang.
The painting is signed and dated by the year and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

It was there that he began to learn classical painting. I later moved to Washington, D.C., and studied at the Zoll Studio of Fine Art in Timonium, Maryland, fully delving into classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil. I am an active member of Washington, D.C.’s artistic community. My work has been shown locally and nationally.
