Original artwork description:

When I started this painting I didn't have any one place in mind, just a seascape but as it progressed I remembered wee villages and tiny settlements of houses that I had seen in the Canary Islands so this is the result. The ocean is wild, clouds are scudding across the sky and reflecting in the wet sand and there is a tiny cluster of white washed houses by the shore.
