Artwork description:

For creating these limited edition prints of a fern leaf I used a technique (perhaps, I even invented it) were charcoal is coated on a piece of nature (for example a leaf) and then printed on the paper surface. It is a small limited variable edition of 5, which are all slightly different. The prints are signed with initials on the front (bottom left) next to the scientific plant name and the print number in the right corner.

The smoky and dusty effect of the vine charcoal that I used to create this beautiful plant print mediates a feeling of lightness and a touch of nostalgia. A small piece of nature for everybody...

Approximate dimensions are 14,5x14,5 cm
