342 At the Vet's Oil on Unstretched Canvas
One can let one's imagination run when forced to to spend time in a waiting room. I was actually at the opthalmologist when I prepared the sketches for this piece. At the vet's your hands are usually too preoccupied to sketch.The Madonna figure in the front came from elsewhere, but she started the process, however children are not my strong point and a cat emerged. We take all sorts to the consultant, here are a few.
This is painted on high quality, 100% cotton canvas, double primed with a white titanium priming. The painting is varnished and mounted in a passepartout, to fit a standard photo-frame or better.
