Oil on linen 65x100x2cm (25.6x39.4x0.8in) 2016. SOLD, Private collection Flein, DE.
I conceived the idea for this painting after watching a report on an exhibition held in Russia where the statues of a museum were shown with no base, putting them at the seme level of the visitors. This aroused a strange feeling of surreal in me and made me think about painting something that could stimulate the same sensations. The setting is a museum in my hometown, the same used for 'Artwork on a green wall', the statue part of its collection.
The painting is hosted on the pages of the Magazine “The Pomegranate, London” issue 1, 2021.
