Artwork description:

One of my favourite (and largest) London Lidos, Tooting Bec, a gorgeous outdoor freshwater swimming pool in South West London. It was also the first one I visited after starting my Lido series of monotypes and etchings.

This is a handmade colour etching. I have redrawn my pencil sketch onto a grounded zinc plate with an etching needle before placing it in an acid bath. The acid 'bites' the exposed line, leaving deep grooves to hold ink. I added an aquatint to achieve the tones. The plate is inked for every print in the edition, meaning each one is unique.

The dimensions include the border; the actual image is 10 x 10cm

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between two layers of board in a stiffened envelope and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
