Original artwork description:

Watercolor painting “At the foot of the fortress. Kamyanets-Podilsky” was painted from life in the city of Kamenets-Podolskiy during my cycling plein air travel across western Ukraine in 2020.

At the top of the mountain there is an impregnable medieval stone fortress, and at its foot there are human houses, which seem to have grown to the mountain on which the fortress is located and all together constitute a single indivisible organism. The composition was tightly placed in a square format, which is also intended to emphasize strength, stability and unity.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
