The weather fronts in the west of Ireland shift quickly; one second they are there, the next they are gone.

Fortunately, memory helps retain a snapshot of these magical moments and then, a painting can reveal them.

It's evening time one autumnal day.

The sun rays, in a last flamboyant display before they disappear behind the headland, sets ablaze the sky with gold veils of light falling into the sea while the first signs of the coming night, blue/purple clouds, drift across the sky.

This painting is an oil on deep edged canvas ready to hang.

All paintings are varnished to add a protective coat against dust.

Only the highest quality archival fine art grade oil paints are used on a surface gessoed and prepared by myself.

All work is carefully packed using protective compressed foam boards 2 cm deep and then wrapped in cardboard so that your painting arrives safely.
