This plein air painting was created in early spring in Eagle Creek, Oregon. The shadows on the roof of the barn from the overhanging trees really caught my attention. I established that area of the painting first before the shadows changed too much. I really enjoy the variety of the architecture against the yellow flowers in the foreground.
