Original artwork description:

Within this painting two figures contort around poppy stems. In their dreamlike state of exaltation they drift between different dimensions of reality. I have incorporated the poppy flower pods due to the mind altering chemicals that they contain within; the painting explores feelings beyond conscious or rational thought, it is an expression of a transcendental moment.
