After reviewing some of my sons’ photographs, I chose the one I used for the painting after zooming in and cropping it. Reflecting on my way of seeing colors, I incorporated many bold colors including oranges, reds, purples, lavenders, greens, and yellow greens. Besides color, I was drawn to the strong light and shadows in the scene.

My materials include artist oils and an oil primed gesso board panel. The painting measures 11" x 14" or 28 x 36 centimeters. A professional camera was used to ensure the image is as close to the actual painting colors as I can get. I varnished the painting to protect and preserve the paint surface. High quality frames are important to the overall effect of each painting. So that is what I used, and I attached hanger wire so the painting will be ready to hang when you open the box. The frame is dark brown with warm undertones and an antique gold filet. I think you will be pleased.
