In this artwork, I aimed to follow the Expressionist style, breaking away from the literal representation of nature to express a more subjective state of mind. Inspired by John Donne's poem "The Apparition," from which I have taken the title, I sought to evoke a sense of coldness and haunting emotion.

Using bright colors and simple shapes, the composition creates an atmosphere that conveys the chilling mood of the poem. The abstract elements and vivid hues work together to immerse the viewer in this evocative and introspective experience, inviting them to feel the emotional intensity rather than just observe the scene.
