Sheep and deer have been associated with a dreamy atmosphere since ancient times. The traditional Chinese character for "丽" is "麗", which is derived from "鹿". The oracle bone script of the deer character highlights a pair of deer horns. As a cultural image, deer contains many beautiful meanings. "Shuowen" mentions: "Deer means traveling. Deer are in a hurry to eat, so they must travel." Therefore, deer are conducive to travel and auspicious meanings of smooth sailing. "Kun Ya" says: "Deer are fairy beasts, they can enjoy their nature, they drool when they walk, and they don't run in a hurry." Deer are also used as a symbol of health and longevity. In this sculpture, a woman sits on the deer, echoing the myth that He Xiangu rode a deer. A picture scroll of "Let the white deer go among the green cliffs, and ride to visit famous mountains when you have to travel" slowly unfolds before your eyes.
