Feb. 2022. 36 x 36 x 1.5 inches on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Unframed / Acrylic Painting / Ready to hang / Sides will be painted a Orange/Yellowish tone to match the painting. (14 layers) 'Textured/Layered Abstract Painting'. Painted with palette knives. I added several layers of primer before adding my main layers-I do this to give the canvas a stronger appearance. I have created 2 Contrasts with this canvas. My intentions from the beginning were to design an Asian influenced painting. I created a heavily textured square center. I was not sure what direction to take with it. I knew I wanted the human eye to focus on the center. I decided to use a mix of Blue hues & Bright Aqua Green as the main colors for the human eye to ponder. Then I started to focus on the Colors & patterns I wanted to create for the outer area. I decided to use a contrast of Oranges, shades of Yellows, Gold over the Burnt Sienna which gave me more clarity for the center to complete with the Blues & Bright Aqua Green heavy textured area. I used Red and Gold splashes over the Blue & Bright Aqua Green hues giving the textured center a richer appearance for the human eye. I have used additional touches of Orange as small accents in the heavy textured area in the center. There are small details that are hard to pick up with my photographs. The painting can be hung 4 different directions - so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.

***PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. Overhead/Canned/Spot Lighting is the best or indirect Lighting. Never direct Sunlight. Wall colors also will make a difference with a painting. I have taken my photos outdoors in direct Sun light. I have used my Apple Tablet camera & my Canon Rebel camera to take these photos. The colors from the Apple Tablet camera are remarkably exact to the original painting. I always have the painting setting next to me when I post my photos online to make sure the colors are true to painting.
