In reality flower is delicate. Flower shouldn’t be in extreme temperature. So I want to paint some “non-realistic” flowers. Among all flowers, rose is popular and easy to recognize. The rose that I have imagined should burn by itself like a coal. The core of the flower has the highest temperature, the outside petals are gradually cooling down and the edges are burnt ash.

Well, I don’t think the ash roses can last long. Once it turns to ash completely it is gone. But imagine that you found this flower at a dark, cold and damp night where you had no matches or lighter to set up a campfire. It would be interesting~ 😀

Emmm……maybe they are not good in drought. 😂

Although I tried my best to match the digital image the same as actual painting but the color may vary due to different monitor and monitor settings. Please be aware of this fact.
