Original artwork description:

A view of a hedgerow ash tree on Buckham Down above Beaminster in Dorset. During the lockdown this was on one of my regular walks during that hot spring with blue skies and sun. The tree is coming into leaf, spring was wonderful and everywhere was eerily quiet and deserted.

I recently resumed painting landscapes in oil, having painted in acrylics for the better part of 40 years. I'm really enjoying getting back into it and mixing those greens!
