Ash

Expressive, gestural, and structured abstract painting of a forest landscape, after one of the terrible fires experienced lately; leaving only ash, polluted skies and no life.
Painted in acrylics with bold brush strokes and pallet knife movements, in a spontaneous style; along with natural runs of paint.
ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE - This piece is sold as a loose canvas only, and is not ready to hang. It will be delivered rolled in a heavy-duty parcel tube.
Painted on 100% cotton duck canvas, which will come off the temporary stretcher frame and be dispatched. Therefore, once received, it should be mounted on another suitable stretcher frame, and then hung with or without a decorative main frame.
It is signed and dated at the back, varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity provided. The overall size of the canvas is 122 × 96cm and the painting size is 102 × 76 × 0.1cm. It can be hung in either portrait or landscape format, once back on a stretcher frame
