Full title: Go Figure; Birds + Words; Asemic
Juxtaposition between the animal and human as well the presence of language and its relationship to apprehending meaning from it. The vibrant bird, the red, the advancing nude and word Asemic share the blank grayish space while being independent and autonomous and thwarting a figure ground relationship in favor of a fragmented collage-like picture plane The combination of these elements suspends an open ended scenario of suggestions and sensations rather landing on a concrete conclusion or meaning. The word asemic /eɪˈsiːmɪk/ means "having no specific semantic content".
