As The Flare Runs Out 18x24 acrylic on canvas _x000D_ This is actually a prep painting to be painted in painting hurricane. I wanted to get the composition right of the family. Normally I don’t do prep drawings or prep paintings I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
