Another in my ongoing series of winter landscapes As I Slept... is evoked not only by memories and experiences from my own childhood but also of my children when they were small. It describes my happiness as a child, waking up to find that as I slept the snow had been falling. For me there is something so special about thick, untouched snow. When the world becomes still and silent . An experience I have also loved sharing with my own children.
This mixed media artwork has lovely textures and marks. It has white painted sides so no need for framing and it has been signed on the side.
