The bond between Arya and her pet is evident in their shared gaze. The raccoon is just as mysterious and magical as Arya, with its dark fur and bright eyes. The two of them seem to be kindred spirits, sharing a secret that the viewer is not privy to.
I chose to use the stylistics of Old Masters paintings in this piece to create a sense of timelessness and mystery. The carefully crafted volume texture further enhances the effect, creating a magical and unsettling atmosphere.
