“Artwork on a green wall” is a medium size, realistic and highly detailed painting which shows a surreal composition set inside a museum. I was visiting my hometown’s pictures gallery when I had the idea of painting a model which shows a surreal piece of art: an empty frame which makes the green wall behind become the artwork. If you look at the plaque next to the frame you can read 'Muro verde' which is the italian for green wall. The bright green light and the architectures underline a suspended situation.
