They are just coming into flower in the garden and so interesting to draw and paint! This is a study in water colour and ink of two artichoke heads - one in flower one in bud.
They are so heavy when cut and the structure is amazing. Lots of splashy colour in the background and black ink detail on the painting.
It is supplied rolled in a tube.
