Original artwork description:
An oil painting of the Arthouse Cinema in Crouch End, London. I did this painting after working from drawings while sitting on a wall opposite the cinema. It's a tremendous building - it's had various incarnations - snooker hall, pub, youth club and now it's the loved only cinema in Crouch End. I wanted to show the building, but also inbue it with a culture I felt stretched to Eastern Europe.
The work is beautifully framed with a light beechwood frame and looks great in both contemporary and vintage settings.
