Pencil drawing in Art Nouveau style inspired by a story of art, female struggle and passion that recalls the figure of the extraordinary and courageous Artemisia Gentileschi, a painter of the 1600s talented to the point of being compared to Caravaggio. Her imaginary portrait, on the left of the work, is usable in a figure outlined between enigma and lunar pallor, highlighting the melancholic, violent and exuberant moods that characterized her life. She was also a lute player and had occasion to engage in correspondence with important composers of her time, including Claudio Monteverdi, depicted next to her.
