Original artwork description:

As an architect, a building or a house is a very powerful symbol to me. For the last 35 years, I have moved and lived in many cities and different countries. With all of the places and homes I lived, each had memories I left behind.
I created this piece, which combines hand drawings and sculpture with a handcrafted wood box. While the pen and ink drawing represents a neighborhood and the paper sculpture house represents the house I lived in they gel to represent my history and memories.
The box functions both as a frame but also as a memory box, one that can be picked up and taken anywhere I go.
The drawing is 9"x6" mounted inside the box.
