Art Bowl 668
The mighty rootstock of a yew tree, branched with seven branches, was the basis for this extraordinary bowl. The drying is complete, processing began in 2017, so no more cracks are to be expected. The warm, yellow to red hues have reached their final stage. Sealed with hard wax oil and polished with a natural wax mixture, the unique specimen shines together with the natural inclusions of the root wood on every table. There is a lot of literature about the meaning of the mystical yew, if you don't know it, I recommend a search engine. The diverging sculpture bowl looks very good as a solitary, but can also be filled as the photos show. The delivery is empty. Hollowed out thin-walled to 1 to 2 cm, the weight is 1823 grams, the logo roko (Roland Köpfer) is carved, in the center the bowl is filled with some granite plastic.
